YouTube Down, site not working for users across the globe

YouTube is temporarily down and inaccessible to millions of users across the globe. The video streaming site is not working for users all around the world as at the early hours of today.

Millions of users who are trying to access the video streaming site are being met with error messages.

The site apparently went offline in the early hours of today. This means that millions around the world are unable to access content on the site.

A visit to the popular video streaming site only shows the website’s template and no videos.

Users on social media such as Twitter and Facebook have expressed their concerns thinking that their YouTube accounts have been hacked.

YouTube down globally?

This issue reportedly affected users in the United States, South America, and Europe.

A user reported that Youtube adds &pbjreload=10 after videos which makes it impossible to watch the video. The problem remains even after deleting the browser’s cache, cookie, and history.

However, YouTube has responded on social media to calm users down. Responding to users who took to the social media to express their frustration at the outage, the company tweeted: “Thanks for your reports about YouTube, YouTube TV, and YouTube Music access issues.

“We’re working on resolving this and will let you know once fixed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will keep you updated.”
