Affiliate Marketing: 3 Ways To Increase Your Conversion Rates On Your Website
Affiliate marketing is all about good conversion rates. But is affiliate marketing still relevant today? Is it still a viable strategy to make money online?
People have been talking about the death of affiliate marketing for years. But how true is this prediction and how close could the demise be?
Well, it is not going anywhere as many sites are still enjoying good conversion rates and making lots of money through this model.
What is happening is that conversion rates are dropping. People are making far more educated purchases and are not as likely to be convinced to buy a product until they are really sure they want it or need it.
That shouldn’t mean that affiliate marketing is dead or that it is harder to make money online these days. It just means you need to optimize your offer for higher conversions.
Once you have a few things in place, you’re going to make tons of money. Here are some ways you can increase your conversions.

#1]. Make your content a conversion machine
Every page on your site should be part of the machine that results in a conversion. Even your informational pages can still be vital to your conversion rate. Don’t just use the page as a way to get traffic.
First, your money page should be using tried and true marketing techniques like AIDA which means Awareness, Interest, Desire, Action. Make the reader know you are aware of the problem.
Then generate interest by telling them that you have the solution to the problem. Next, create desire by adding an emotional element to the equation.
Lastly, get them to take action. The ideal blog post should have all of those elements. It doesn’t matter how good the writing is if it doesn’t follow that simple model.
#2]. Start an email list
Another model marketers have written off as dead is email marketing. The truth is that it is a powerful way to add revenue to your website. When people are signing up for an email it means that they really like what your website offers.
- 👉All-in-one platform for marketing.
- 👉Automate your marketing tasks.
- 👉Easily reach your target audience.
- 👉Grow mailing list around the clock.
- 👉Deliver emails that get opened.
- 👉Measure clicks to see performance.
Create a lead magnet that will increase the sign-up for the list. It should be free and available as a download. Newsletters work fine, but you can really explode your sign up rate by adding a short ebook or a checklist for the product or service your site is about.
Then drip emails every week with one in four being an offer to your product. Those people are likely to convert because they were big enough fans to give you their email.
#3]. Test, test, and test again
You never really know what works and what doesn’t until you do tests. You should be testing different calls to action (CTAs), different buttons and where to put your links.
Then, change one thing and see what happens. Don’t change too many things as it will be impossible to know which change moved the needle. If you are using a landing page, then you should be doing split testing.
Make a couple of different versions and see which one has more conversions. Do the same for your emails once people are on the list. You can have different emails sent out to different segments of your list to see which one resonates better.
